Wheel Balance
Your vehicles wheels are required to be balanced regularly. Unbalanced wheels can cause a vibration through the steering wheel whilst driving, reduce tyre life and induce wear on steering and suspension components. Wheel balance should be checked once a year at minimum.
While we’re on tyres, on most vehicles the front tyres will wear quicker than the rear. This is due to the weight loading on the front tyres (in particular front wheel drive vehicles). So, that’s why wheel rotation is also important to ensure all four tyres wear evenly.
