Hyundai Tucson Models Explained | Phil Gilbert Hyundai

Body

If you're in the market for the perfect mid-size SUV to go on and off-road around Greater Sydney, then you need to check out the Hyundai Tucson. Available in four trims, nine exterior colours, and 2WD/AWD, the Hyundai Tucson is one of the most exciting SUVs to hit the market in a long time. The team at Phil Gilbert Hyundai thinks it’s the perfect time to share all the details of the 5-seat SUV that Drive magazine's Andrew Maclean said is: "Stylish to look at, spacious on the inside and exceptionally comfortable to drive".

Performance

Performance Performance

As with many of the vehicles from Hyundai Australia, the Hyundai Tucson is quite versatile. Three different engines can power this SUV:

·         2.0 GDi 2WD petrol engine that puts out 121kW of max power and 203Nm of torque

·         The Gamma 1.6 T-GDi engine with 130 kW of max power and 265 Nm of torque

·         2.0 CRDi AWD diesel engine that delivers excellent power with 136 kW and 400 Nm of torque from a low 1,750 rpm

To control these dynamic engines, you have a choice of transmissions including a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission and the exciting 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission that gives you the responsiveness of a manual and the ease of an automatic. Drivers can expect fuel consumption as low as 5.4 L/100km. To give you the smoothest ride possible, Hyundai has created a suspension specifically tuned for the challenges of driving in Australia. They achieved this with thousands of kilometres of testing on a variety of road surfaces including our rugged country roads. On top of all of this performance, drivers get braked towing capacity of up to 1,600 kg.
